Types of courses:
Prince2 course values were
defined initially in 2009, after that they were updated many times. The current
outline being followed is from update 2017. It was functional from the start of
2018. For other languages, the 2009 version is still applicable, but for
English, the outline will be followed as of 2017. One must choose the content
from the recent update in English.
Prince2 2017 version

changes were done due to the unbalanced activities in project management
industry which were not covered by Prince2. These were implemented in
Foundation and Practitioner exams both. Modifications occurred are:

seven core principles were not changed.
- Classifications, which were much
needed were done in that version. Every industry was specified
accordingly
- Integration of Prince2 foundation and Prince2 Practitioner with
respect to themes and principles
- Improvement of customization
methods by including parallel distributed simulation examples.
- 2017 version is the key to
managing projects, one can consult the manual for live examples regarding
every industry.
- Generic methodologies were fine,
the update was needed to differentiate minor details in projects.
- This version gives special importance to the members of Foundation and Practitioner level. The reason is to keep them up to date by the changing tools and technologies day to day. This also helps them to flourish their skills and practices.
